What Spoonfed is

Spoonfed is a hosted RSS reader operated by a solo developer. By creating an account and using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service, no hard feelings.

Your account

You need an account to use Spoonfed. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One person per account, don't share your login or create accounts on behalf of others without their knowledge.

You must provide a valid email address if prompted during registration. This is used for password resets and important service notices, nothing else.

Acceptable use

Spoonfed is a reading tool. Use it to subscribe to RSS feeds and read articles. Don't use it to:

  • Scrape, mirror, or redistribute feed content at scale
  • Abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Automate interactions with the service beyond normal RSS polling

If something seems like it might be pushing it, it probably is. Use common sense.

Your content

Spoonfed stores your bookmarks, quotes, notes, and reading history. This data belongs to you. If you enable a public profile, the bookmarks and quotes you choose to share will be visible to anyone with the link.

Feed content itself comes from third-party publishers. Spoonfed fetches and displays it but doesn't claim ownership of it.

Availability and changes

Spoonfed is provided as-is. It's a small indie project, not a service with an SLA. I'll do my best to keep it running and reliable, but I can't guarantee 100% uptime or that features won't change.

I may update these terms from time to time. If I make significant changes, I'll do my best to let you know through the app or via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Account termination

You can stop using Spoonfed at any time. I reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or are clearly abusing the service.

Liability

Spoonfed is provided without warranty. I'm not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but isn't limited to data loss, downtime, or feed content that turns out to be inaccurate or offensive.
